The Tri-Cities

Three cities, one set of problems, one number to call.

Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody run together so closely that plenty of businesses have an office in one, a warehouse in another and staff living in the third. Your IT shouldn’t care which side of the city line a laptop is on, and neither do we.

JFI is based in Maple Ridge, just across the Pitt River, so the Tri-Cities are a regular drive for us. The day-to-day work is the same managed IT we run everywhere: a helpdesk that already knows your setup, accounts and devices kept in order, backups that restore, and problems closed at the cause.

On site or remote

What gets fixed remotely, and what gets a visit.

Most problems are fixed over a remote session, which is usually faster than waiting for anyone to arrive. When a job needs hands, we come to you anywhere in the Tri-Cities.

Remote

Fixed without a visit

If it can be solved from a screen, it is, often while you’re still on the first call.

  • Passwords, MFA and locked accounts
  • Email that isn’t arriving, sending or syncing
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licences and permissions
  • Updates, patching and software installs
  • Backup monitoring and test restores
  • Account clean-up after a phishing email
On site

Worth a trip across the bridge

The jobs that need someone in the room, from one desk to a whole floor.

  • New laptops and workstations set up and handed over
  • Firewall, switch and Wi-Fi problems
  • Printers, scanners and card terminals dropping off the network
  • Office moves and fit-outs, with new network drops
  • Server closets and racks that need sorting out
  • In-person onboarding for new staff

Who we work with

IT for the businesses that make up the Tri-Cities.

From industrial units in Port Coquitlam to offices around Coquitlam Centre and Port Moody’s villages, the common thread is no IT department and a need for one.

  • 02

Accounting, legal, real estate, insurance and engineering offices around Coquitlam’s City Centre and Port Moody, where client files and email security are the business.

  • 03

  • 04

    Retail & restaurants

  • 05

    Trades & field service

Contractors and service companies based in the Tri-Cities, with crews on phones and tablets and an office that needs the same files.

  • 06

    Multi-site businesses

An office in Coquitlam, a shop in PoCo, a second location in Port Moody. Networks, accounts and documentation run as one system, not three.

Common questions

IT support in the Tri-Cities, the short answers.

01Do you cover Port Coquitlam and Port Moody as well as Coquitlam?
Yes, all three. Many businesses here have people or locations in more than one of them, and we run it all as one setup.
02How quickly can you be on site?
Our commitment is a first response the same business day, and most problems are fixed remotely during that response. When something needs a visit, the Tri-Cities are a short drive from our base in Maple Ridge, and problems that stop someone working go first.
03Can you connect our offices in different cities?
Yes. Site-to-site links, shared files and one set of accounts mean an office in Coquitlam and a shop in Port Coquitlam work as one network. That kind of setup is quoted as a project.
04How is managed IT priced?
One flat monthly fee, sized to how many people and devices we look after and agreed in writing before we start. Projects are quoted separately. The pricing page explains what’s included.
05We already have an IT person. Can you work alongside them?
Yes. We can take the helpdesk so they can focus on projects, or cover backups, patching and security in the background. Who handles what is agreed and written down.
