ReplyChamp: AI replies to Google reviews, built and run by JFI
A software product JFI designed, built and operates. It drafts replies to Google reviews in the business’s own voice, and holds anything negative until a person has approved it.

Reviews pile up faster than anyone answers them.
Google reviews matter to local businesses, and so do the replies. A thoughtful answer to a happy customer encourages the next one, and a calm, specific answer to an unhappy one is often read by more people than the complaint itself.
But replying is nobody’s job. The owner means to get to it, the front desk doesn’t feel it’s their place, and after a busy week there are a dozen reviews with no answer. The replies that do go out tend to be the same line pasted over and over, which reads worse than silence.
ReplyChamp started from that gap: make a good reply the easy default, without handing a business’s public reputation to a machine.
What it had to get right.
- A person decides on the hard ones. A reply to a one-star review can make things better or much worse. Anything negative had to wait for a human to read, edit and approve it. Automation was only acceptable where the downside is small.
- It has to sound like the business. Generic, interchangeable replies are what people already skip. Drafts needed to reflect the business’s tone and the detail in the review itself.
- Simple enough to actually use. The people approving replies are owners and office managers, not software users by trade. Approving a draft had to take seconds.
- Cheap and reliable to run. As a product JFI operates itself, it had to run without servers to babysit and scale without a redesign.
- Careful with data and access. Connecting to a Google Business Profile is a real permission. Access had to be limited to what the product needs.
Drafts by AI, decisions by people.
ReplyChamp connects to a business’s Google Business Profile, picks up new reviews, and drafts a reply to each one using AI, written to match the review and the business’s voice.
The approval gate
Every review is sorted before anything is posted. Negative reviews are never answered automatically: the draft is held until a person reads it, edits it if needed and approves it before it goes out. That rule is built into how the product works, not left as a setting someone might switch off.
Day to day
For the owner, using it comes down to a short list of drafts to look over: approve, tweak or rewrite. The work of starting a reply from a blank box is gone, and the judgement stays with the business.
It’s the same approach JFI takes to AI assistants for small business: let AI do the first draft, and keep a person where the stakes are real.
What it runs on.

A live product JFI runs every day.
ReplyChamp is live at replychamp.com and operated by JFI. Building and running it ourselves means we deal with the same things a client’s custom app will face after launch: keeping AI output on-brand, handling third-party APIs that change, watching costs, and supporting real users.
That experience goes straight into client work. When we scope an integration or an AI tool for a business, it’s with the knowledge of what it takes to keep one running, not just to ship it.
It’s also why JFI supports what it builds. A client who calls about their app after launch deals with JFI, the company that built it, not a support desk meeting the code for the first time. How JFI builds and supports custom software.
